Visual identity
Where folk knowledge meets science
The first laboratory at UFG to be called an Ervanaria. The name Florim comes poetically from “flor de capim” (grass flower), a tribute to lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus), the first botanical element studied and analyzed at the unit. With a strong-personality typeface, the leaf sprouting from the letter “O” confirms that the ervanaria is born, quite literally, from the morphological study of the leaf. The color inspiration came straight from the heart of the Cerrado.
Florim is science that welcomes and research that assures, in service of life.
